Invalid verification code (OTP)

If the code is invalid:


On an Android or iOS smartphone, make sure you have installed the correct app:

Google Authenticator




  • The trick is to wait until you have a brand new code to benefit from the 30-second validity period.


Do not have duplicate accounts in the app. It's possible that one account is in error.

The recommendation is to delete duplicates in the app.


Resynchronize the date and time on the smartphone. OTP apps rely on them to generate codes.


Request a new QR code to reset the app settings.


Delete and reinstall the app.


If the customer is using their internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge), make sure they have installed the Authenticator extension.
